PILATES

Is a movement system based on the principles and philosophy of its creator Joseph Pilates. Due to the popularity around the world, this system is becoming increasingly detailed and changing over time. This is its undisputed advantage, as its development takes place in connection with the increasingly detailed and in-depth study of the functioning of the human body by leading organizations and specialists in this field. Thus, besides the genius of the creator himself, we have an industry with modern means and knowledge based on the summation of the experience of previous generations and the latest research.

Pilates originates in yoga, but is more focused on the gymnastic aspect of this wise and rich, in its impact on man, teachings. However, the character of Pilates is related to the fact that Pilates is certainly a much deeper system than just fitness, gymnastics or other kind of motor activity. A system that imposes certain requirements on the human consciousness and "brings up a reasonable body". It is impossible to perform simple, at first glance, exercises without penetrating deeply into the essence of the action, without making efforts to understand what is happening. Concentrating on the muscles that are involved. The most important advantage of the Pilates system is that it is primarily aimed at developing the skills of functional and safe movement, rather than doing the exercise for the sake of exercise. A pleasant side-effect of this exercise is a purely aesthetic - a tightened silhouette, a branded Pilates belly, the relief of the outer muscles. Many models, actresses, singers, people who are connected with the aesthetics of the body, chose Pilates as a way to maintain (and often even acquire) an attractive physical shape.

SIVANANDA YOGA Is one of the modern yoga trends.

The name comes from the name of the Indian guru Swami Sivananda, who was born in India in 1887. Sivananda was a surgeon by profession, but one day he cured a monk who began to teach him yoga, and since then his path of self-development has begun.

Sivananda moved to Rishikesh, found his own guru, improved himself over the years, found his students, wrote many books on yoga, and spread this style of yoga to the West in the late 1950s, sending his student Swami Vishnudevananda there.

Sivananda yoga is aimed at the development of spirituality and is close in essence to the style of Patanjali yoga - the author of one of the main texts on yoga - "Yoga Sutra".

Sivananda yoga is a complex approach to self-development and self-knowledge.

The most important difference of this style of yoga from all others is that the whole practice takes place only in a relaxed state, and practicing Sivananda yoga, first of all, learn to relax and only then pass to asanas.

Sivananda yoga is the way to calmness and awareness.

A person gains physical and mental peace of mind by practicing Sivananda yoga. This kind of yoga allows you to develop willpower, stay calm in difficult moments of life, helps to find clarity and awareness in everyday life. Each practice begins and ends with the singing of mantras. As you know, singing mantra is a very powerful technique of changing energy. After singing the mantra, the practice itself begins, which includes concentration, breathing exercises and relaxation. Next comes the performance of asanas, and each asanas is adjusted according to the physiology of each person individually, taking into account all the anatomical features. Someone performs simple asanas, others - more complicated. In total, 12 asanas are practiced, which can be supplemented at the discretion of the teacher. Different variants of asanas are used, depending on the group of practitioners. This style of yoga, like most other styles, is designed for any person of any age.

THE FIVE BASIC PRINCIPLES OF SHIVANANDA YOGA

It is well known that this style of yoga is based on five basic principles:
Proper breathing, or pranayama. Having mastered our breath, we master our consciousness.

The right exercises, or asanas. By performing asanas, we liberate our bodies, making them flexible and healthy.

Good nutrition. Excluding all harmful products, we cleanse our bodies, become healthy, conscious and energetic.

Positive thinking, or vedanta and meditation, or dhiana. By meditating, we calm our minds and look at the world soberly and consciously. By practicing positive thinking, we radiate happiness and share it with the world around us.

The right relaxation, or shavasana. By practicing the technique of relaxation, we gain peace of mind.
